Orlando AMYA NCR regatta?

so you saying that you expect a lot of folks with pastey white skin on the shore line…???Hey I resemble that remark…Wait until you see my hairy legs…you’ll have visions of the missing link…

Remind me again… why am I letting this man in my home tonight?

There’s a drug store on the way- get some panty hose… Maybe some high heels? :devil3:

oops… getting scary again…

Orlando… sunny & warm. No need for hip-waders & a raincoat.

I’m bringing beer… providing a method to your madness in the form of transportation to a sailing event…comic relief… pick one…

I was just over at the pond for a couple of hours, putting together some marks and getting them in the water for folks to practice with this afternoon and tomorrow. We have permenent marks out there but depending on the winds they may or may not come into play.

Wind was Easterly at about 5-8 kts and high scattered clouds and about 78 degrees.

I second and third the beer conversation and since we are sailing from an outdoor pub, it won’t be hard to find.

Beer me Christy!!!

I am glad I built that storm rig!!! Sound like we are really gonna need one!!!

Dear friends,

dreaming about a future entry of european footys on the other side of the pond, I wish to take advantage of orlando event to give notice about this new trophy.

Here and there we ( angus and me ) have already spoken about it, and after many e-mails between UK and Italy , we can now proudly disclose the rules :

1 - the “coppa d’italia” ( italy’s cup ) < cdi > is a perpetual trophy presented by the italian footy association

2 - the cdi is a trophy for team of Footy Class yachts

3 - the cdi will be held within the Footy Euro GP

4 - The cdi shall be organized by the organizer of the Footy Euro GP, which shall be entitled to set the number and composition of team as it sees fit depending on the number of potential entries

5 - the cdi is open primarily to national teams of two or three boats. However, in the interest of good competition, the organizers may allow sub-national, club or multi national teams.

6 - the Supreme Court of the State of New York shall have no jurisdiction whatsoever ;-)

To put it simple :

let’s have more fun
let’s add something new to euro gp
let’s have a growing international activity of footy class

We hope that during beer breaks between races, bill , frank, graham and other friends on the other side of the world will start to discuss about a new “stars and stripes” team

We wish you a fair wind, and a lot of fun !

Flavio ( & Angus )
