12mR scale 1:12

I’m use to watch Hulls in the water, but not too much back otherwise the Wet area will increase !

Courageous US 26 mold opened yesterday.

Made a quick and dirty test hull last night with some material I had at home.
Lars

Just amazing how fast you are in making hull models !

I’m making a new hull tonight. It will be finished on Thursday, done it will have stern and deck flange. And tomorrow night I have to work.

Hatched hull no 2 tonight. Half the weight of hull no 1, despite the deck flange and stern.

no words to say anymore !!

The surface looks incredible

Thanks guys. I plan to start hull no 3 tonight.
I need a better place to work… My shed is tiny…
Lars

but you have a great looking garden :stuck_out_tongue:

like 3D printing !! heheh !

The garden is my wife’s hobby.
Hull no 3 is in the works. Hope to laminate tonight.

Touché lol

From tonight. Will laminate the 4th hull tomorrow night.

First water test for US 26 Courageous today. Felt good to finally see her in the water.

Thanks Claudio,

Yes, the big boat is called a Rival 22. Popular boat here in my home town.

Hi Lars, what is your home town? She looks like her sister.Gilles

What a coincidence !
I was a fortunate owner from 77 to 85 of a new Rival 38 Cutter Rigged ordered at Rival Company in Southampton as an empty hull except major bulkheads (navigating Kit) . 2 years work to finish all interiors.
I sold it since my wife was always sea sick and my son preferred the girls ! Recently I discovered that is sitting in Barcelona as a Charter. Is now 40 years Old. Excellent quality monitored by Lloyd.
The Rival was replaced by a wooden mahogany warmish Dragon also 40 years old.
A lot of enjoyments !!!

That is cool! I think it is a different rival but cool that it’s got the same name! Beautiful boat! Lars
