I know that the RG65 was developed from the G65 freesailing class. Is there still a contingent of active vane sailing 65s in South America? Are there rating rules that are still in effect? Steering gear I would assume is vane. Is the vane mounted on the stern as in Marbleheads or mounted on aft platforms like the British 36R class? The later case would allow the use of current r/c designs for vane sailing.
