I have seen several differnt style of stands out there for working and displaying your boats.
Just wondering what are some peoples pref here?
Low enough so you can reach the top of the mast. High enough so you can reach the deck. Take your pick- they are mutually exclusive unless you are very tall and very flexible. Most important, wide enough so it won’t tip over in the wind. If you make it so that the boat can flop back and forth it dosen’t seem to tip over as readily as it does if the bottom of the keel is fixed. To say it another way, make the stand so the boat can heel.
