The "Peacemaker-Project"

Ernst!
I wish you all luck with this project, dispite Mr Hagara not attending.
Regards,
Booster

I stated that I would like to see more multihulls designed , built and raced against each other.I therefore would not vote for a 60" but continue with the 48" and sail against the best in Europe. Find out what the best design qualities are.

Hello Ernst, and hello board. I am fairly new here so please no sharp objects when you start throwing things at me. [:-wiltel]

Ernst, your boats from the pictures are awesome! I was going to vote for the Chinese Junk because I really like to see what you could have come up with and I kinda like the non-conventional design types. And I was kind of hoping you’d actually build a larger seagoing Pirate Junk.

But after seeing pictures of your boats, I want to place my vote for the 60 inch trimaran. [:)]

I know I am a new comer here and to the field, but I’m curious to see how your new creation will turn out. [8)]

Dear snuffleupagus! -
Thank’s for your vote! -
As you can see in my galleies, I have built a lot of trimarans during the past 4 years ->
http://community.webshots.com/user/boatbuilder

And as there are still only a few people into racing rc-trimarans, I’m still in doubt, if I should build another one -…-
Jesus - I have built more rc-trimarans on my own, than all american modelbuilders together -…- at least, as far as they are present in the internet! -

And this is why I’m thinking about this 2 meter chinese junk! -
Or the 1.6m cruising catamaran! -
Just for the change.

But each time I had built a trimaran in the past, I learned more - and got more understanding about all involved forces. Therefore no new trimaran was identical to the previous one -…-

Dear William,
there are some specific details about the building process of the F48, which I’m not really happy with! -
Some major parts of the boats are too complicated to build at this size - not to talk of a 1 meter trimaran! -
And I like the sailing performance of the F60 ‘Daydreamer’! - So I would prefer to enhance this bigger design - and you are free to copy it at a scale of 1.25:1. - Which would be the F48 of course! -
