The "Ballarat Boys" Playground

well Steve, the new Falcon mould works a treat. The first one didn’t go very well, not enough release agent, hull too light, busted during removal. the second however, turned out just fine and is now in the hands of our latest club member, who is working on it now to get it on the water ASAP.

Now all I need is more free time to make some spares for resale, and to get my new hull on the water… WORK totaly ruins a perfectly good hobby :frowning:

hmmmmm! not enough work don’t do it any justice either diversion but least we got anouther member to set sail with us

HI it’s the new member :biglaugh:

Thanks for all the great help, with member like you the club can only get better.

Thanks for taking the time and molding my bulbs Monday night, hope to have the keel made by the week-end aswell as the rudder.

No worries Stuart, love the logo.

sounds good stuart you’ll be out on the lake in no time soon we will have a whole fleet of falcons (goto love that name)

well gents it’s the weekend again time for racing

Yeh maybe next week for the new boat…work, work ,work, family, kids, work…

sooner or later the hobby just has to come first… doesn’t it ?

sorry div they tell me the hobby never come first :frowning: but hey look at this way every one else is in the same boat (pun not intended) tiz why it has taken me so long to get the crone running

Better info on our pond.

I wondered where you were going to put that photo Nev.

It shows the pond size and history thought it may be of interest

Nev, I don’t remember the pond and surrounds being that flat.
What a great time Hair-oil and I had in Balla… We’re working on our next visit and hope you blokes don’t improve too much before we return.

steve

They are getting very much better, so you better wacth out.

Stuart

Steve

The only flat area is the sign, as Stuart said, we are looking forward to a rematch

Well Nev the only thing I want off Stuart is three MF hulls PDQ.

Stuart you can’t hold out for ever? How sweet the victory will be by the “old but foxy”.

Right the contest is , (the gauntlett is thrown down). 40 paces with drawn winch drums!
You might be growing old Nev but Hair-oil and me are on the way back.

steve

Well Steve,

Just remember, it’s our pond and we know which way the wind blows (well sometimes) so we look forward to the day.

Hmm, better get that boat finshed!!!

Stuart:cowboy:

Stuart, They don’t call us ‘Old but Foxy’ for no reason.
We too know the winds down yonder (in the paw paw patch).

And we are formenting our tactics as we speak. Hair -oil’s has been calculating the depth of the steamshovel etc. Nothing will go unresolved in our quest for the auld mug,er… er trophy.

Mate, I think that should be “FERMENTING” your tactics. Right?
Good to see you back Steve.

G’day mate , what have you been doing? Are we going to have a "sherbert " in the club house in Sydney?

Fermenting or Formenting? Formenting is like we are going to drop them in Concrete and then we 're going to do some personal “fermenting” to celebrate.

steve

hahaha

We have been work on some tactics too, (We have been talking to the skin divers about some keel spotting, so what colour was yours??)

Steve, it should be great fun, sorry I missed the first one, but only by 2/3 weeks. I hope to have my 3R done aswell as the MF.

Later
Stuart
