There seems to be a lot of interest, especially amongst the Footy folk, in hard chine (sharpie) hulls. Last year, in the USVMYG newsletter, we reprinted an article on developed surface hull design by the master draftsman/loftsman S.S. Rabl. This shows how to develop the patterns of complex shapes that are made up of intersecting sheets. It’s not an easy read, but rewarding. It’s too large to put up as an attachment (676K PDF file) but I’ll be happy to email one to anybody who PMs me with their email address.
Cheers,
Earl
