For all of you who like to make your own sails, GOOD sail material is available from Brighton Boatworks at reasonable prices.
You can get 1.4, 2.0, 3.0 mil thick, Dupont Melinex 377 (aka Mylar), either by the foot, or a whole roll of it (500 feet)
He also has insignia cloth (“self adhesive Dacron sailcloth patch and sail re-enforcement material”), and double sided tape
I just received my order, so I’m off to experiment with some sail ideas.
