Rhythm 1 Metre Question

Hi

I have an old plan of a 1 metre class boat called Rhythm and I am contemplating on building it. Is this boat still competitive on todays racing scene or should I be looking for a more recent design?

What are peoples thoughts?

i have 2 rhythms in my fleet. and for sure. it is not the fastest i have. but it still is quick. and very easy to turn. I have never once regreted building it. and keeping it around. will it beat a ts2. depending on the skipper i would say yes. but that is the question mark. a good skipper can make a slow boat go fast. a good skipper with a fast boat would be hard to catch.
what ever people are driving near you . check it out and build what they are driving. I for one am buying the plans for kite
