NSS 650 STANDARD build log

Hello everyone,

I have been quiet for a while, unfortunatelly work kept me away from my “boatbuilding” attempts. But I have managed to put my last one on the water. The sails are temporary but I have to say that concept and design did pretty well  More pictures is still to come. Best regards,

hello,

here are some better pictures of the boat. After sailing it in somewhat heavier conditions I have noticed that boat has difficulties crossing the wind direction line going upwind. Do you know what may cause this? Maybe different set up of the sails? Even though I am quite happy with the result

Going by the last picture .

jib club is nearly on the center line. Way to tight, open the slot. should point just inside the shroud to start. could use some curve on the leech, add some topping lift to match the curve of the main.

Main looks open at the top spilling air. Add more Vang. Middle batten somewhere more parallel to main boom.

No wonder she is hard to tack. no power in the main and to much in the Jib.
