I have been struggling for the last couple of months to find a solution to the topics not showing up when somebody browses them. I love my snitz board but it seems that many of the old supporters have moved on to new boards. So I have come to a descision making point.
Do I convert everything over to a forum similar to http://www.sailingfreak.com (which is also a more robust in handling lots of inquiries)
Or
Do I keep trying to get snitz to work and hope that a newer version will finally come out that will hopefully correct this issue?
I would like feedback from users and mods alike.
I have done a test run of converting older rcsailing databases on the other server and everything seemed to work ok. The only issue is that everybody would have to redo their passwords due to the use of encryption. Which only takes a second…
Your information would still all be intact with the conversion. And you will gain a lot more options.
