I know this isn’t strictly what the forum is about, but has anyone encountered a fairly good (preferably freeware or shareware) Sailing tactics simulator for Mac OS X?
Try SAILX.
It requires an Internet browser and your machine connected to Internet, bu it provides free interactive tactical sailing with other sailors around the world.

OSX compatibility is good although:
- Newer Leopard users require some extra (minor) config in the Java Preferences window (explained in here)
- Safari is the tested browser. Some users experience interface problems with Firefox.
