So, lets go for a Big-boat I thought.
After a demo on our local sailing water, I decided to go for this “big” Dutch designed Yacht.
At this time there are some 435 boats sold.
The class is really a one-design with strict class rules. The competitors in the winter competition are mostly sailors themselves. Also some with Olympic experiance (Star/49-er/Europe/Laser)
The price is somewhat high compared with the “standard” RC-boats, but the complete package is sold for about 1300,- Euro’s.
The boat is build from laminated epoxy with a wooden deck.
The bulb is made of cast-iron.
My own experiance with this boat is that i’m sailing it for almost 5 years now in close competition.
In 2004 I reached my goal: Dutch Champion.
If you compare this class with others f.e. IOM or Micro Magic, this one really SAILS.

weight : 18,5 kg
