It's Just The Basics

I’ve posted several times - usually in response to posts where I feel the builder is overbuilding the hulls to a point where they resemble the build materials of a real boat.

I suggested on several of those posts, that a sailboat consists of a mast and sail, a keel and bulb, and a rudder by which to steer. I also suggested the rest of the hull is just a shaped material to keep the water out.

Looks like a designer has gone one better - letting the water IN and assuring it can get OUT quickly. Photo courtesy of Sailing Anarchy.
