I recently put an HK Bat1 together in order to learn a bit about land yachts. I would like to eventually build my own and to that end I have started to accumulate “stuff” for it. I also purchased the LS4 plans to act as a guide for my design.
Unfortunately, ever since the Bat1 was ready to go, we have had rain, snow, freezing rain, high wind, and finger freezing temps. It is supposed to warm up a bit now so I might get a chance to try this out.
Anybody else out there with one of these? I have seen a few mods for them and I might have a go, but I need to see how it goes first. Of course, once the water sailing season starts, this will take a back seat.
