I am getting back into rc sailing after pulling the boat out of storage. I have a Victor Tahoe II 36" and although its not a class racer this boat sailed about a third of the way to Catalina Island, I was sailing it from the cockpit of my 30 footer LOL I used to sail it at two harbors all the time and its also been to Tri City lake a bunch of times. After dusting it off I found a bunch of cracks around the keel so I cut off the deck and used the plastic to make internal paches in the hull then I sanded the hull and re=faired the keel it is now in primer, as for the deck I will skin it with plywood, stain and varnish it I am kinda going for the classic look.
