I am just introducing myself to you all as a new member of the forum
I am located in the middle of England and have just retired from work.
I sail dinghies ( Miracle and Mirror ) at the weekend at my local sailing club .
Now I am retired I have more time to play but cant sail unless there is more than one boat
on the water ( for safety reasons) , that’s just as well really as I cant swim.
So I thought if I cant sail my dinghy during the week then perhaps R/C sailing is the next best thing
So I have started building a US1M Mistral.
I have been looking on the internet for help, advice and forums where I can find assistance for when I get stuck .
It was while looking for help on sail making that I came across this forum , and in particular Claudio’s Gadget
which seems so much easier than a sail block.
There seems to be a lot of knowledgeable people on here and I hope I can call on you when I get stuck
