I’ve just noticed that I should have introduced myself here before making my first post. Sorry.
Anyway, I’m James, I’ve been sailing most of my life: in the early years Fireflys through to International 14s; then keel boats - XODs, Swallows (with Stewart Morris, from whom I learnt most of what I know), Dragons, Darings, etc.; Then offshore in many classes up to 55 foot. I also raced trimarans from 24 - 35 foot.
For many years I have thought about radio sailing, and now I have a Triple Crown design IOM that I race with some success at Emsworth, UK. In due course I intend getting out on the circuit to see how I fair against the good guys. I hope to meet some of you out there.
