Hello to everybody,
I’m new to the forum and relatively new to RC Sailing. I belong to 2 RC sailing clubs, the first is Sacramento Model Yacht Club, the other is Deception Pass Model Yacht Club in Anacortes, WA(we spend the summers there).
In Sacramento I sail/race a Seawind, and in Anacortes I sail/race a Soling 1m. I started racing in March of this year and am progressing, although slowly. I’m still figuring out the boat tuning thing. Small changes sure make a big difference in boat speed. I’m trying to be philosophical about finishing last or close to it alot of the time, but it is frustrating. It’s fun though.
That’s my story. I hope to pick up some tips and techniques from the forum.
