Hi everyone!
I’m new to rc sailing.
My dream is to create an autonomous sailboat to cross the Atlantic! But for the moment I’ll be focusing on semi-autonomous rc sailboats. That is, directly controlling some aspects and experimenting with micro-controllers to take care of the rest.
For example, RC the rudder but have a canting keel being controlled by a micro-controller with a 3axis-accelerometer.
I’ll keep you updated on my project and I hope that you will be able to help me in the parts I am less proficient like hydrodynamics and design.
Hope to be able to fit in this forum with this slightly esoteric project.
