Just to introduce my self. Formally a sailboat manufacture with and industrial division using composites. At the present time I am a member of the West Island Ship modellers Club (wismc.ca) located on the island of Montreal, Our club membership consists of 2 groups, scale modellers and RC sailors. At the present time we sail the MINI 12 however in the past few years my self and other members have been working on new designs and have introduced them to our members and other clubs.
The waters we sail are weed infested on the great Saint Laurence and sailing IOM type boats are not recommended. This being said full keel are more suited like a J boat and with our aging membership heavy boat have become harder to transport and launch.
