Yes, that’s a good one, and pretty rare besides. Best guess is that it’s at Stowe Lake, as Spreckles supposedly wasn’t built that early. There’s another of about the same vintage and one more from the thirties that’s definitely at Spreckles and that’s all we’ve been able to locate.
As an aside, the Spreckles was reshaped during the WPA era and all the maps, including the official one they sell at the museum and the one on display at the Beach Cabana are wrong. Well, you know, it’s only been eighty years, can’t rush these things …
