FREE PLANS ON THE NET

I have been exploring a lot on spaniards forums, and there is a common site for taking plans. The most of them are Old ships, but it’s an interesting place.

ok, it’s a russian place, but, click on the button named “yeptexn”, or aproximately, and look. [:-pirate]

It’s a dutch site, and a little difficult to explore (language) but has a lot of quite modern (since 1900 aprox.)plans, like this

Nothing personal but that’s no dutch, that’s a German site. Trust me I know dutch[:D]. But if you want a translation try babelfish from altavista. You can select text and translate it into English.

Hi Folkert

I’ve made my tasks [:-graduate] and i take these plans on past week. I have also plans of IOM (i guess you like it) Advance MK1, Arrow, Magic, Mistral, Nuberu, Orco, Triple Crown, Zipper and another one no-named and one of IACC.

Thanks

OLE!

Well if you have these plans online, you may send them to me. It’s always better to have things double than to have nothing…

Folkert

what’s your email adress? i will send it to you.[:-jump2]

Hello

I have been thinking about the idea of sharing plans, and i think that could be great that everybody shares their plans, maybe creating a topic only for plans; don’t you? [^]

OLE!

Hi there Jose,

I thought I did share my email adress, but apparently I didn’t. I fixed the problem so if you could send me the plans, I would be very grateful.

Folkert

Some great sites you all have found. Spent close to three hours going threw them.

Found a few plans I really really like . But as a side question to the plans. Many of the plans shown are in Adobe pdf format. How do I save this type of file. My printer cannot handle the LARGE sheets for printing so thought I would save to disk and take them to a friend that has a plotter to print them out. But cannot find how to save them as a file .

when you are in your adobe reader, there is a “disk”, click on it and it will save the file into your PC…not the one of your browser

Wis

if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it!

I have th’ “printer won’t handle…etc” problem as well. 'Got around it by D/L’ing a program called PosterRazor.
Cheers,
RD

posterrazor is a great program. You can use it scale an image, and then tile it. You simply print out the tiles, tape together, voila!
In a topic of free plans, please don’t forget http://rg65.free.fr/start.php there are tons of rg-65 plans on there.

Jose,
Could you send the packge of plans you’ve collected to me, too, please.
I’m roningram@vabb.com .
Tnx!
