I got the same problem…was thinking and maybe Doug has a VBscript problem!

I think Doug is still using Windows 95[:-banghead]…so time to make an update Doug…(why I know…easy…in active users you can see what the active users are using[:-angel]

Btw is Windows 95 still supported by Microsoft???

Anyway, Doug, try to update your Internet Explorer…latest version is IE6, of course there are plenty of other browsers…Netscape, AOL, Mozilla…its up to you.

If you need help, just ask!

Actually, it looks like Doug Lord has a bigger problem…

On my machine, whatever has happened here seems to have wiped out all of his over 800 posts…

And nothing he tries to post new shows up…!

Talk about starting over…

Anybody else have any idea what is going on?

Doug is running WEB TV which isn’t a Windows based operating system, although it is powered by Microsoft as I recall.

Perhaps Doug’s sign-on became corrupted?

Doug - if reading this, see if you can sign on and post on other forums. Just shake your head if you can post. [:D]

Since it isn’t browers based problem, and since many of the rest of us can sign-on, post and read, it probably is an issue at his end.

Sorry I didnt know this webtv thing…now I see what it is (trash…sorry for that)
However, I found a way to see the posts from Doug or after him .
When you arrive on the General Discussions page (rcsailing.net) just click on the xxx reply(s), you should now be able to read it…and to reply…I know it is still not fixed but at least we can read the posts.

can’t believe i’m the first to think this (well say it anyway) but doug’s popularity isn’t that flash looking at quite a few posts and subjects (personally i’ve never had a bad experience with him, he’s normally the first to help me and others out wether or not others agree with his advice).
i just hope this isn’t a sick joke or payback and noone has corrupted all his posts delibrately.
(hate to be the first to say it though i’m sure i’m not the first to think it)

Doug you broke the forum! J/K sorry got it fixed I think… If you care, the forum wasn’t working correctly because of a bug in the ranking system… I adjusted the rankings if you haven’t noticed and I will try to get to the bottom of this on why at 800 and 2 posts it started acting wacky.

Sodium, a number of people had similar thoughts given the vitriol during the WAR; kudos to you then and now for having the courage to speak up !
