Footy Region 1 Championship Coming Soon!!
Sunday, August 8, the Region 1 Championship will decided on Lake Rosemary in Needham, MA.
This regatta is open to all AMYA Footys, regardless of region so lets get going! We should have skippers from MA, NH, CT, NY, NJ, FL…the more the merrier! It’s been a really fun event in the past, so don’t miss out. Trophies and Chevrons will be awarded to the top three finishers.
Registration will be open at 9:00, there is a $10.00 entry fee. Skippers meeting at 10:00 and we’ll race until about 2:00.
Jim Linville is coordinating the event. If you plan to be there, please notify him after Monday, July 26 (he’s busy with the Vintage event until then.) You can email Jim at jimisu@verizon.net or call him at 781-925-0045. Registration will be open on race day, but it helps us plan if we know in advance that you are coming.
