To All Footy Skippers
The Tanglewood MYC in Sebring, Florida will be hosting a Regatta on Monday, Dec 8th. The pond can be found on Google or Mapquest Maps at: 1515 Tanglewood Circle, Sebring FL 33872. The pond is on the Circle adjacent to various facilities (Fitness Center, Pool, Library, etc…), so bring the spouse. Tanglewood will also be host to the fourth stop in the FFF II series Footy regattas on Saturday, Jan 17th.
At this point, the top four skippers from the Vero Beach FFF II Regatta held a couple of weeks ago are already signed up and ready to take on all challengers, so come join us for some fun sailing and gain local knowledge of the pond before the FFF II.
Boats: Class Legal FOOTYS - The boat must fit in the box, 4 AA Batteries required.
Any Sail Rig, Any Race - Large or small – Bring All You Got - It’s your call!
Times: Check in at or before 10:00 AM. Arrive early and get in some practice. Racing Starts at 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM with Noon Hour Lunch Break.
Scoring: Low point, As many races as we can get in. One throw out for every 7 races Completed
Trophies to the top-three finishers.
Entry Fee: $5.00 Purchased lunches at cost. Preferred Registration by Monday, December 3, 2008, Day of Race Acceptable

Punta Gorda - Take 17 N to 64 E to 27 S ~5 Miles to Tanglewood = 75 Miles Total
Orlando - Take I-4 W to 27 S ~ 52 Miles = 84 Miles Total
Vero Beach – Take SR-60 W to CR-630 W to 27S ~18 Miles to Tanglewood = 91 Miles Total

About Tanglewood - Tanglewood is a gated community with 1200 homes on 350 acres of land. Main gate is open daily until 5 PM. There is also an RV area for those wanting to spend a day or two and the pond is available for practice from morning to night. For RV reservations, call 863-402-1500.
