So what are people using for sail boards for footy sails? What radius? Did you buy something commercial, or did you make your own?
So far I’ve been making single-panel sails, but at some point I’d like to try a paneled sail.
Most of us find that its hard enough to make a Footy sail that doesn’t have inconvenient wrinkles, isn’t too stiff or too flimsy, too large or too small, to even contemplate panelled sails. One of the good things in Footydom is that most people can make just about everything about a Footy on the kitchen table----there has been no mention of divorce in any Footy site yet.
But good luck if you wish to try, although I suspect it will fall into the category of ‘gilding the lily’.
