Well, it took a while … but the first newsletter for the COA is attached.

Very well put together, Earl; the Spanish Association also does a news letter and I posted a translation of those parts applicable outside Spain on the “Files” section of the Yahoo site. I like the idea of the CD. Also, the builder’s guide to the Racing Sparrow is, as you say very thorough and worthy of a wider audience, which the RG65 angle could very well give it.
Well, we made it to issue 2, attached.

And here’s the latest, with the Rio Grande Cup results.

Hi Earl - In race reports I would like to see some mention of which designs the competitors campaigned paired with the results. I am sure that this info would be helpful to those folks who are interested in getting involved in RG65s.
Niel -
while not specifically US Boats, this was posted by then International RG-65 President Maximo Lange and represents the boats from the Argentine Championships. As you can see, there doesn’t seem to be any specific design that wins - and even though it’s a development class, it still boils down to the 'hot thumbs" for the regatta.
From the RG-65 47 + page tread here on this site…
In Argentine the first 5 designs were
1- 43 - owner design
2- 87 - owner design
3- 18 - owner design
4- 7 - JIF 2
5- 71 - owner design
