been trying to get going on a 1m cat. I have no idea where to go from what I have said in my ‘prowler’ thread. I don’t have any other yachts, but I have built a few coroplast electric boats.
Try the multihull threads here. I’ve provided a free set of templates (Look for “IMPULSE”) and the general plan to build from foam sections - cover with glass and either leave foam inside or remove. You can build as a tri or a cat. Also see the website of RCsails.com. He is providing free plans for a glass over foam RG65 (65 cm/25.5 inch) trimaran. Build a small one first and keep in mind they sail a lot differently than a monohull with lead.
