Canadian coverage of Louis Vuitton & Americas Cup

For Canadians who want coverage of the Louis Vuitton Cup and Americas Cup, here is part of the reply I received from TSN, who has the Canadian rights. Unfortunately, they have chosen not to broadcast it over the TV network, but are making it available through the Internet, for those of you who have broadband connections.

TSN Broadband will provide live coverage of each race from the Louis Vuitton
Cup Final, which begins on June 1, followed by the America’s Cup Match,
beginning June 23. All races begin at 8:30 a.m. ET (see broadcast schedule
below). In addition to the live coverage, each race will also be available
on-demand at www.TSN.ca on a special customized TSN Broadband player.

thx john … just watched race one … streaming quality wasn’t great but wasn’t bad either … a good, not great race, Italians worked hard and showed themselves to be smart … I wonder how Ellison’s boys would have done … TZN showed their standard competence …

so ah, whad’ya click on ta watch it?

Enter www.tsn.ca and look in the upper right of the screen for the Americas Cup banner. Click on that and it should start. The feed is live while the race is on and you should be able to see the finished race ‘on demand’

doesn’t work fer me, but thanks anyway.
it’s like all the missed years of class 1 action…i’ll see it one day.
