What angle off centre line shoud both booms be? 90 or less. I would assume we do
not what them to look like when I sailed lasers past 90 sailing by the lee?

Andre, I like to set my main boom to point at the transom corner and the jib to point at the side stay when close hauled, and when full out the main should touch the side stay and the jib be 90 deg. when at 45 deg. the booms should be parallel.
