Don; when you edit your profile; there should be an “avatar” to setup…

if you still have questions…just ask

Edit:

1st click on “PROFILE”
then you should come to “Edit User Profile”

2nd uner basic: on the right side you should see “New Avatar:” then select : our avatars…

To answer the question you asked:

To use your own avatar, use the box to the left of the “our avatars” box Wis mentions to input the full web address of the image you would like to use. As an example, in my case I put in:

“http://www.cupinfo.com/images/banner-crossed3.jpg”
