Well I have good news and bad news. The good is I had one race today at Carbrook, South Brisbane, and I won it. I was scratch on handicap and increased the my lead. The bad news is that a rotten gust caught me in between my first race (light wind) and the next and I had a turnbuckle break, and no spare to be found so that was the racing for the day. Hmmm. Still quiting while ahead isn’t so bad!
