I wonder what would happen if, instead of putting a bulb in the windward side (as in the video), we somehow, we put a float on the leeward side, so that the boat does not heel.
This is my question to myself for several months, how to change the float from side to side.
With this technique we would save the heavy bulb.
Maybe this is a stupid idea, but I will keep thinking about it.
Estimated dick, what I try to do is precisely to eliminate mobile ballast, it increases the displacement.
I’m trying to replace by a float on the other side of where you would put the ballast.
Gidday Norman, hopefully you’ll be starting a build log ? in the case of multi’s I’m thinking for RC versions bigger is better as you have some weight to play with for better stability …just my 2 cents
Any one want to place bet that OR will be rebuilding this boat soon !? boat balance looks ass about face with foils way forward and main raked to hell
Obviously the cameraman was more interested in filming the boat than the B rate amateur porn he was supposed to be filming…
I pity the poor guy…when he’s in bed laying on his back staring up at the ceiling thinking “Christ, she made more noise when that damn boat sailed by…”
poor judgement on the rower to be out in the middle of nowhere, but even worse judgment for Oralce to split the guy like that the between two high speed boats.
