Aloha everybody!! I am located in Honolulu, Hawaii. I am an avid RC modeler, and have had several jobs in the industry. If any of you are into other RC hobbies, we may well have talked or emailed in the past!! I was the Director of Flight Division for the former Quark Brushless Systems, and also the Team Captain/Lead Driver for MLP Motorsports. I have worked and been sponsored by many companies, including AON Electric, Castle Creations, Hacker Brushless, Hobby People, Tamiya, etc. My current boats are a Seawind, and a Fortune 612II. For powerboats, I run a Miss Geico brushless, a Riva Ariston, and a Proboat PT-109 scale project. I am currently building a few other boats, check my upcoming posts for details. I would love to meet any fellow RC sailors out here in Hawaii, and am always open to get together. This is a great forum, and I am excited to be a part of it. Mahalo.
WE sail on Sundays at about 9:30 till noon and practice on Thursday about the same time. This is in Ala Moana Park across from the Waikiki Yacht Club. I don’t think they sail anywhere else on Oahu. We have been in the park for 35 years. We mainly sail US-1M’s but there are a few Seawinds any many assorted others.
