First day at the Region 5 Championship at Rymer Lake, Farmers Branch, TX. In winds 5-10, shifty 13 races completed. Eric Rosenbaum leads with 13 pts followed by Mike Eades 24 and Andy Rust 25. Mauricio Dantas 35 and Bob Piper 38 round out the top 5.

After a second day of wacky winds Eric Rosenbaum of the North Texas MYC sailed a flawless regatta to take the title with Mike Eades second, closely followed (they were tied at lunch on the final day!) by Andy Rust.
