Would this work?

Sorry, I forgot.

I get my spars from different sources. Either online from composite material suppliers or from model/hobby stores. No special mast spars at all. I figured thou, that there are different strengthes depending on manufacturer. Some have 1 mm wall thickness, others have 2mm. makes a big difference weightwise, but not too much strengthwise. Either would work for an unstayed mast.
(I am sure the technical load measurements are much better for the thicker one, but that might not have any noticebale effect for your ship.)

Marcus - looks similar (in many aspects) to your idea. No canting mast - but three hulls in a “Y” formation, and they are using foils. Rear pod has steering.

Thanks a lot guys! That’s awesome stuff…

I think this guys is using the Y configuration to get a better lever arm length on the rear foil. By moving the rudder back he is able to move the lifting foils forward to work better against nosediving. Also the T-foil on the rudder has more lever arm and thus more effect when pulling down. And I gues it has a lot more power for tacks that way too.
A bit odd looking, but very interesting. Thanks a lot for the Info.

btw… did you see the section about the construction of a full scale version of the foiler? Looks like it should be finished sometimes this spring. I am looking forward to seeing it fly.

yeah, well there plenty of free podcasts or whatever on the internet that are :cool:supposedly “designed” for
workouts, but remember – you get what you pay for – the creators of these podcasts have to rely
on “free” music… they can’t license real hits, they could never afford to … if you look
carefully at the playlists, you’ll realize they are all either outdated techno from back in the 90’s,
or they are really “underground” (i.e. terribly, terribly boring) tracks, with just a beat going :graduate:
forever until u want to kill yourself – …

If you want something that’s really going to get you motivated and keep you motivated…
I recommend the “Euro Club Hits” series – it’s on iTunes – you can just search for it,
or try this link:
