It occurs to me that two of the centre hulls joined by cross-members and I would have a cat with lots of rocker:D
I am doing a “sanderson” on Sloice - moving all the moveable weight aft to lighten the bows. This involves the batteries and receiver. I ALMOST had them alll behind the keel/mast box but was defeated by the volume of the servo wiring - no amount of force or vaseline would get them all in place so two of the four AAAs are going immediately ahead of the keelbox.
This will enable me to fit a switch - almost a first! and do a better job of waterproofing.
So I just need to extend the inter-battery wiring and insert a microswitch in the system (I might also fit a flashing LED to remind me the system is live) and SLOICE will be in world-beating form.
