how about those pre-perfed rolodex cards? They come in sheets, and they’ll fit in your shirt pocket better than 3x5 notecards. You can either pick the correct size from your software’s setup options, or do it manually.

I think a FAQ card would be in order:

  1. Does it have a motor? No.
  2. How does it go? It sails.
  3. What do you do when the wind stops. You wait, though it will go on less wind than you can feel.
  4. How fast does it go? A pretty fast walk.
  5. How big is it. About 55 inches tall, 32 inches long and 12 inches deep.
  6. How much does it weigh? About 5 1/2 pounds.
  7. You control it? I control the rudder and how far out the sails can go.
  8. What if it sinks? Probably not. it’s full of foam.

“4. How fast does it go? A pretty fast walk.”

At a recent event at our club we had a couple of the 10 Raters from Denver visiting. Downwind with a little breeze I had to run to keep up. You wanna get fit - get a 10 Rater.

If you wanna get fit but don’t like to run - get one of Dick Lemke’s multihulls - 'cause you need a bicycle to keep up with them.

Unless of course, while sailing one on the “edge” you find yourself upside down - in which case, stop, have a beer and wait for it to float ashore. :zbeer:

Spent a few minutes waiting for the air to stir and move my boat yesterday. Very light wind. Glass smooth water. It was a nice day to sit at the side of the pond.
