I’m only 27 and though I don’t have children yet (still working on taking care of the ring part, hopefully only a little while longer), when it comes time, I plan to immerse them in hobbies and toys that make them think.
When I was a kid I had all kinds of hobbies trains, rockets, models, slot cars (real ones, 1/32 scale). All my toys where Legos and Consructex (I thinks that’s the name). My favorite past time was working with dad in the garage, even if the only thing we did was make a pile of saw dust.
Man do I miss those days.
Legos, cars abd sailing…I stopped Legos though, had a break with cars, but now stronger than even…and still sailing…
