Same idea as yours, just easier to do. The foam is on inside of hull with glass acting as tape on outside. I just glued foam where it was easy to do. Used thick epoxy/micro balloons for adhesive elswhere when foam had too tight of bend, too small of working area (like in the bow and transom, etc.) It is along full length of top deck and bottom keel. Then cut out for board and radio hatch.

here is current “C” Class foil thinking which has gone far beyond Doug’s older posts. Will be interesting to see if Canada using these foils can wrest the Cup from Cogito Team in September. If it all holds together, it may be a great new step forward.
