Here is a clip from up the rig… I wanted to see how the mainsail shape was doing and check how much the rig rotates in a big breeze. This footage was taken the same time as the GPS log I posted earlier…
My prototype had its first minor failure today,
I managed to part the jib mount from the deck. It was pretty windy, 20knts + so the backstay was on Max - it actually bends the compression bar across the boat where the bridal is attached!
Nevermind, I will stick it back together Sunday. There is a national championship regatta taking place here in Valencia on Sunday and some of the sailors there are interested in seeing it on the water.
