Onorato (Mascalzone Latino) - the Challenger of Record btw - has also just announced he is out.
Reason, lack of funding … he needed 50 mil to set up a challenge with “some real chance of winning” and they were far from that figure. He said that he rather quit then just show up knowing he would have virtually no chance.

Just to add… I have heard, but not confirmed as I have been too busy, that - Now the Challenger Of Record has withdrawn, and in accordance to the Deed all the entries for the 34th Cup are now invalid the whole process should start again.

But I guess Oracle will steamroller that as well!:rolleyes:
